After joining forces with Nike for the Air Max 97/1 and then with Asics on a Gel Lyte III , Sean Wotherspoon , the co-founder of Round Two, is once again collaborating with Adidas and unveiling an eco-responsible sneaker for Earth Day 2021 .
The Adidas ZX 8000 Sean Wotherspoon Superearth adopts a composition of recycled materials, from various fabrics on the upper to form a multi-colored patchwork . We find in particular Scottish tartan on the quarter panel, canvas on the top of the toes and the outline of the lacing system, or even denim on the front of the foot and the 3 side stripes . We also note the presence of a red embroidered flower on the left foot and the Adidas Originals clover on the right. Finally to finalize the design , we find a '' Super Earth ' inscription on the top of the tongue of the laces as well as the initials of Sean Wotherspoon grafted on the heel.
This new collaboration, which represents a real step forward in terms of sustainability and ecology , once again highlights Sean Wotherspoon 's creative talent, giving us hope for future silhouettes to come.
